The Exhibition “Herrrrreinspaziert” looks at the history of Weißensee, which in the 1920’s was named “Little Hollywood”, Berlin’s cultural hotspot.Followed by a screening of the silent film “Waxworks” (1924) with live musical accompaniment.

Join us in celebrating the third Absinth Aperitif Soirée with a dazzling Springtime Ball. It’s April, spring is awakening! Its beginning to rumble again. Even from a distance we can hear the muffled swinging rhythm. We follow our ears – and stand suddenly in a bygone era. Goosebumps emerge under the 98 foot dome, as an illustrious audience moves around the room, and swing and hot jazz vibrate the dance floor. At 21:00 enjoy a Swing Taster to prepare you for the boisterous dances. And look alive, throughout the evening, we have a few entertainment surprises in store for you!

Absinth und Tanz, Surrealismus und Stummfilm, es war eine wilde Fahrt durch den Glamour im Berlin der 1920er Jahre. Rund um das Theaterstück “Exposure Berlin” zeigte “Per Aspera Productions” eine schillernde Revue, welche die neuesten Kollektionen von “Pepp Art” und “Aspasia” zeigten, der Filmemacher Reynold Reynolds gewährte einen ersten Blick in sein neuestes Werk “Die Verlorenen” und die Big Band “Kind of Dukish” spielte zum Tanz.

Auf dem Programm standen surrealistisches Theater, Stummfilm, Live-Musik, und in besonderer Weise präsentierten wir die Kollektionen von zwei Berliner Modedesignern, als Teil des offiziellen Programms der Berliner Fashion Week!
